Adult Abuse and Neglect Prevention

Adult abuse is when abuse happens to someone age 65 or older, or any adult age 18 or older who has developmental disabilities, physical disabilities or mental health conditions. Types of abuse can include physical abuse, sexual abuse, emotional abuse, financial abuse or neglect. If you think someone is being abused, you can report it by calling 855-503-SAFE (7233).

Office of the Long-Term Care Ombudsman

The Office of the Long-Term Care Ombudsman provides no cost advocacy and problem-solving services for residents of long-term care settings which includes residential care, assisted living, nursing and adult foster homes.

Governor's Advocacy Office

We are no cost advocates for the Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS). We help people work through questions, concerns or complaints about ODHS services or programs, such as Medicaid services.

Long-Term Care Facility Compliance History Search

The Oregon Department of Human Services licenses long-term care facilities including nursing homes, assisted living and residential care facilities, memory care settings and adult foster homes. These facilities must meet requirements specified by Oregon Administrative Rules, State and Federal law.
